#1 Deck Stain Review
Easy to apply, easy clean up and the color of the stain looks excellent. *Weathering Testing: In-Process
#1 Deck preformed great on my deck. Every three or four year, I re-stain my deck. I can honestly say was that #1 Deck Stain was the best stain that I’ve used so far. I highly recommend #1 Deck to anyone looking to maintain their deck.
+ PROS: Ease of application
Easy of clean up
No odor
Overall appearance
Connie, for this product you should wait no more than 20 or 30 minutes between coats. With penetrating products like this one, it’s important that they soak in. They’re not designed to form a film and lay on top of the surface of the wood. If they do, they typically peel. Applying a second coat the next day may be a problem as the first coat is already dry, and it won’t allow the second coat to absorb properly. Your best bet is to wait until spring and apply a thin coat.

Wondering if I can apply a second coat a day or two after the first.
