07 Jun DEFY Extreme Vs. BEHR Semi-Transparent Acrylic
DEFY Extreme Semi-Transparent Wood Stain Water-based was tested against BEHR Semi-Transparent Acrylic. After 14 months on pressure treated lumber, DEFY retained it’s color, did not peel, darken, or grow mold. After 14 months, BEHR shows dark spots that appear to be mold, faded somewhat, and had a number of areas where peeling was noticeable.
1 Year exposure test was performed December 2015 – December 2016 in Indiana, with the boards having a southern exposure. 14 month update photos were taken February 2017.
