Sikkens SRD Stain Review

Product was easy to apply and penetrated well. The stain looks much like orange paint when wet but dried to a fairly attractive finish. In the 14th month weathering test, the stain showed severe film erosion, resulting in a significant amount of graying.  Overall weathering results were not very good.

Not sure if this is the same formula that I used… but I stained my deck with this in 2007 (perhaps the mixture has changed since then) and was happy with the results. Long term it just faded (not peeled) so easy to do a re-coat.
